My partner loved his gift pack, says he wants more of the socks and has already installed the gully board and accessories under his WFH desk. was very happy with his present.
It's a great product for long days at the desk to keep a little bit of movement and to let out frustrated energy. Big fan of the cork ball.
Hi Neil, thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're so glad you enjoy the Desk Movement Board Kit and the cork ball. Keep moving and stay energized!
We are using this in the office, and the team are loving it! Probably need to get a few more now.
Wood quality is clean and superbly made. Size is good, my toes hang over the edge (shoe size 10). My preference would be for a larger sized board, width and length. Overall, happy with my purchase.
Desk Movement Board Kit
I absolutely love this! As an active person on the weekends, Mondays were usually stiff and sore affairs. I feel like my recovery is sped up by getting some mobility in earlier, and I’m so glad I purchased one after sitting on it for a while.
Hi Elyce, we're so happy to hear that the Desk Movement Board Kit is helping with your recovery! Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing Gully Boards. Keep moving and feeling great! Cheers Mark
I’m happy with my purchase, however I wish I had known before that it’s not really suitable to use directly on a wooden floor (eg wood board touches wood floor) because the point of contact is so small and solid that it has dented my floor.
Also, the board itself was a little rough, so I sanded it down a bit and now it’s more comfortable for bare feet
Hi Elsa, thank you for your feedback. Glad you’re happy with the board. For reference, we do highlight that if the board is being used on tiled or timber surfaces it's important to add a mat to protect both the board and underlying surface. The board is supplied with anti slip oil that is rough in texture (To provide extra grip), we also offer the board to be supplied with a standard finish for anyone with sensory issues. Cheers Mark
I initially purchased the board for home use, but quickly recognised its value within my professional environment as a therapeutic resource.
I added the board, ball, and balancing blocks to the resource corner in my office and let clients know there were new items available. Neurodivergent child clients were immediately drawn to the board and ball for sensory input, using them to pretend they were surfing or skateboarding, or playing catch with their parents.
Anxious teens also responded well to the products. Some enjoyed the gentle movement of the board under their feet while seated in session, while others found the firmness of the ball grounding to hold between their hands while talking.
The balancing blocks were especially popular with younger children. However, for neurodivergent clients or those who prefer uniformity and predictability, it may be helpful to mention beforehand that the blocks are slightly different sizes.
Overall, these are great products and have been a valuable addition to my therapeutic space.
I have a sit-stand desk riser. Found I wasn’t using it as I didn’t like standing - stand still made my legs and feet restless and “uncomfortable”.
The Gully Board is a game changer for me. I love standing up regularly now as it’s fun! Really truly, it’s fun!
Pricey piece of kit, but it’s well made, looks great, and I like that I am supporting a small Australian business.
I can’t sit still to save my life. The board gives me something to fidget with while I’m working. I alternate between the cork with the sphere facing up and just the board with the sphere on the ground. Gives me a bunch of alternative ways to fidget and different sensory inputs. If you have adhd like I do, it’s an absolute winner
Thanks Marc, that's amazing feedback!
Late-diagnosed AuDHD-er here. I’ve spent so many years twiddling my feet or putting pressure on them for sensory input, but didn’t know why. Sitting is boring for my brain, but the Gully board helps me move and then my focus improves. I like the two different modes; one side is more subtle and the other is great for rhythmic patterns. Thanks for a great quality product!
Hi Sahpee,
Thanks so much for the feedback, so glad that the board is helping you out. Cheers Mark
It's so good to be able to move my feet while in working at home. Great alternative to standing up when you're in the middle of something. It's the perfect height and size for me. So glad I discovered it. Almost tempted to ask for one at work as well.
Awesome to hear Katalin and you should totally nag your boss about one for the office 😉
In answer to your question I’m not in a position to rate your product. The gully board was a gift to my daughter-in-law, who discovered the item. She’s the expert who should be asked to rate it.
The only thing I can say was her response when she opened her Christmas gift: “Wow! Thanks, Dad.”
Thanks for letting us know Luis. Feel free to forward the email to your daughter. But we always do love a 'Wow, thanks Dad!' Cheers Mark
Bought this for my adult son as he gets lots of calf cramps. Also ADHD so he is loving the gully board! 😍
Great to hear Susan! Cheers Mark
Very comfortable sitting at my computer with my feet on the desk movement board. My knees are almost level with my hips now and the constant movement is helping the stiffness in my lower body.
I have a tendency to break most footrests in my office at work because I wiggle or move too violently - this board is not going to suffer the same fate! It's perfect with the cork roller for a left/right alternating movement, and if I flip it over onto the domed side I get a less exaggerated but more varied range of motion and can keep the ankles moving as well.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Wow, thanks Lani! That might just be the best feedback we've ever had! Cheers Mark
Love this product. Great way to move whilst working. Well crafted. I would recommend to everyone
Thanks for the great feedback Judy, really appreciate it 🙌
I originally bought a gully board to use sitting down at my sit/stand desk, but I find it's so fun to swivel and balance that I stand alot more and for longer! It's great to be able to shift your weight in different ways so I feel less stiff at the end of the day. Love it! Good quality too.
I brought this for hip pain as I wanted some gentle movement while at my desk at work. I got to use a colleagues gully board and after 10 minutes my pain was gone and hips felt looser, all day.
So glad I have my own now, it's become a normal part of my day and my back is much better for it.
Thanks!!
Thanks for the awesome feedback Carla, great to hear it's working well for your hip. Cheers Mark
Beautifully made. Lots of fun for the feet.
I sit a lot working from home and this seriously has adjusted my position and my legs feel much lighter! Thank you!!!
Great to hear Serena, thanks for the feedback! Cheers Mark
Started using it as soon as it arrived and haven’t stopped. The kids even use it at the dinner table. Great quality. Would recommend
Thanks Samantha, that's brilliant to hear
Excellent craftsmanship. Fun and easy to use. The whole family are improving their balance.
Great to hear Christine.
I keep my Gully Board at my desk, it reminds me to keep moving and helps to prevent a stiff back. Thanks
Thanks Karen, Awesome feedback 🙌
I bought this for my husband to use in the home office. He has a few tennis injuries, sitting still all day wasn't helping the healing. He says he is surprised that the little movements help his legs not feel sore by the end of the day and he can concentrate better in his online meetings.
Desk & Mini Balance Board Rubber Mat
I use this daily for working from home and it’s fabulous!
Bought these for my sons who have office jobs where they sit far too much. At least now I know they will get the health benefits of using the Gully Board to counteract sitting at a desk all day.
Good quality product / wood. Quickly sent. Hopefully it will help my sore Achilles. Ideas of exercises you can do with it would useful.
Hi Alison,
Thanks for the feedback. We're working on some 'how-to' videos at the moment, hoping to be able to share them really soon. Cheers Mark
