Learning stages
The Gully Junior Cruiser works in three learning stages, so your child can build their skills in a safe and progressive way.

Stage 1 - Beginner
Adult and Child handle in tandem
This gives the adult full control over
speed and direction of the board
whilst allowing the child to hold on
for stability.

Stage 2 - Intermediate
Adult handle only
This phase still gives the adult full
control over speed but allows the
child to focus on balance. This stage
should also introduce the child to
controlling the board left and right
as well as stopping on their own.

Stage 3 - Advanced
No handles
Your child is now confident on
the board without intensive adult
supervision, they are able to
manoeuvre left and right and
come to a stop on their own.

Each Junior Cruiser is made by hand in our Melbourne workshop. Whilst the shape may be the same, each and every board is unique, with different grains and colours in the timber making no two boards identical.
We back our product and our craftsmanship, so if you do have any troubles we will replace any damaged or faulty components no questions asked.

The board will last a lifetime, if it's looked after well. Being made of solid hardwood timber the only regular maintenance required is a wipe with a damp cloth. Like any timber product, it will wear over significant time, but can be rejuvenated with a light sand and re-application of oil.
